A corporate anniversary is a once-in-a- lifetime achievement that deserves recognition. Considering the average company stays in business for less than seven years, those that last certainly have every reason to celebrate.
A simple dinner celebration was held at Jade Garden, Makati City last July 10 to mark the 50th founding anniversary of Toyota Tsusho Corporation – Manila Branch (TTC-MB). It was attended by Mr. Nakano, General Manager of TTC-MB and concurrently President of Toyota Tsusho Philippines Corporation (TTPh). He was joined by former employees of TTC-MB namely Mr. Ryuzo Miwa (one of the former presidents of TTC-MB), Mr. Mike Torres (Import Manager), Mr. Anthony Gonzalez (from Sales Team and now consultant of TTPh), Ms. Venus Lascuña (Admin Manager and currently General Manager of TTPh), Ms. Marilou Gonzaga (Accounting/Finance), Mr. Alfredo Bernese (Accounting/Finance), and Mr. Allan Yanson (Executive Driver). TTC-MB and TTPh Support Team, Atty. Lani Solis (Corporate Secretary), Ms. Joy Taburnal (CRM Asst. Manager), Ms. Aiko Haruna (Admin Manager) and Ms. Bambie Ranas (Executive Secretary), also attended the celebration.
Mr. Nakano commenced the celebration by relating how TTC-MB’s existence has aided TTPh to develop and grow in the industry.

The program officially ended with the host leaving everyone a saying that, “A company that doesn’t have a history, may not have a future.”
